This tumblelog is full of things I like, things that make me happy, or things I am feeling.
It's just an all-around jumble.
Why not? Right?
Enjoy. I know I do.

I just wrote to my representatives to oppose SOPA and PIPA. You should too. Here is some more info, courtesy of Wikipedia, if you are not aware of what I am talking about. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:SOPA_initiative/Learn_more You can also join the fight by… I honestly wrote my own opinion about the issue. That I felt that it suffocates the free sharing of ideas which the internet represents. Tumblr and other sites like it would no longer exist if it came to pass. I discussed how it will effect my job as an educator drastically if comes to fruition. My students will not have access to the wealth of information that the internet has to offer if these bills pass. Think about how this legislation will personally affect you and let them know. They are a representative of YOU and they have to listen. If you want to take the easy route simply tell them that as a citizen of their state you would like them to oppose it. You can even send them the text argument which Wikipedia has on their website: Tell them you are their constituent, and you oppose SOPA and PIPA. SOPA and PIPA put the burden on website owners to police user-contributed material and call for the unnecessary blocking of entire sites. Small sites won’t have sufficient resources to defend themselves. Big media companies may seek to cut off funding sources for their foreign competitors, even if copyright isn’t being infringed. Foreign sites will be blacklisted, which means they won’t show up in major search engines. SOPA and PIPA build a framework for future restrictions and suppression. In a world in which politicians regulate the Internet based on the influence of big money, Wikipedia — and sites like it — cannot survive. Congress says it’s trying to protect the rights of copyright owners, but the “cure” that SOPA and PIPA represent is worse than the disease. SOPA and PIPA are not the answer: they will fatally damage the free and open Internet. I personally added this to my own messages to my representatives because, I felt that it summed up very well my own feelings about the issue. :) Whatever you send to them will help. Do not every worry about your writing skills when it comes to these issues. They will respect you and your opinion because it is their job to represent you.
Well-worded, my friend.
No problem at all feel free to message me again if you need any more help. :)
Thank you very much for the reply. I will try to write something out tomorrow and probably take inspiration from this.
